Retail Training Supervisor

Job Summary:

This position shall be responsible in assessing the training needs of existing employees under the Retail division and develop and facilitate training programs to close the performance gap.

This position shall create training modules; facilitate training programs that will help newly hired Store Supervisors or other Retail operations employees to be immediately productive and minimal time to adjust.

The position shall also develop the leadership capabilities of supervisors and management through training and development program/s.

Job Description:
  • Conducts various methodologies to identify training needs of all Retail Division employees.
  • Analyzes training needs and maintains close communication with retail operations managers to discuss and develop new training programs and modifies and improves existing programs.
  • Plots training calendar for the quarter.
  • Creates, develops, and facilitates modules that are designed to bridge the performance gaps identified in the training needs analysis phase.
  • Conducts training program for newly hired Store Supervisors and coordinates with other resource person/s for the scheduling of modules or topics.
  • Recommend mechanism or program to assess effectiveness of the New Hire Training as a follow through a month or a quarter after deployment of newly hired Store Supervisors to assigned store.
  • Implements and arranges on-going technical and soft skill trainings for Retail Division employees at least one program per year and Leadership development program for supervisors and managers one program per quarter.
  • Facilitates all administrative and logistic requirements of training such as but not limited to budget requisition and liquidation, scouting for training venues or accommodation of newly hired Store Supervisors.
  • Prepares monthly report on the effectiveness of new hire program to newly deployed Store Supervisors.
  • Performs other tasks that may be delegated by the immediate head.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mass Communications, Psychology or equivalent
  • With at least 3 years of working experience in the related field
  • Knowledgeable in Training Need Analysis, Training Development and Training Logistics
  • Excellent training facilitation, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Proficient with English and Filipino in both oral and written

Store Supervisor

Job Summary:

Takes charge of the operations and manpower management of assigned store and ensures attainment of sales quota per brand of assigned store/s.

Job Description:
  • Implements store sales strategies to achieve given sales target per brand per store
  • Analyzes and solves problems and concerns affecting sales
  • Performs customer service and administrative functions in a store setting
  • Coordinates with brand coordinators matters regarding merchandise requests and reports stock movement and customer feedback
  • Manages actual selling and customer service
  • Conducts daily pep talks with sales staff to remind them of daily sales target and motivates them to perform at their best
  • Implements excellent customer service, attends and resolves customer complaints and performs customer relations
  • Oversees implementation of standard store operations and store personnel
  • Prepares weekly/monthly sales reports in coordination with the retail and concession sections

Job Requirements:
  • Candidates must be a graduate of any four-year course with commendable scholastic records

Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

Monitors and oversees the warehouse operations and activities in all warehouses. Leads and directs warehouse personnel to achieve department goals and provide efficient service to the different Head Office Departments.

Job Description:
  • Monitors that all incoming stocks and non-stocks are properly checked, documented, received, stored and coordinated.
  • Monitors that all outgoing stocks and non-stocks are properly prepared, checked, documented, packed and endorsed to the Delivery Department for on time delivery to the right destinations with their expected quantities.
  • Ensures the recruitment and placement of qualified WH personnel to perform the various functions of the department.
  • Promotes teamwork, ensures training and motivation of WH personnel.
  • Supervises the WH personnel in the implementation of company policies, rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for the health, cleanliness, safety and security of the work environment in the warehouses.
  • Responsible for the space planning of the warehouses, maintenance of the same and the structures.
  • Ensures the proper physical condition of vehicles, machinery, facilities and equipments.
  • Oversees the various projects of the Module Department, reviews the schedules and the events installations, maintenance, construction etc. are well coordinated and performed.
  • Evaluates, creates and implements operational procedures as well as efficiency measures for the various functions. Reviews workflow to ensure efficient performance of expected outputs.
  • Implements stock control systems, ensures accurate physical counts and actively participates during periodic inventories.
  • Coordinates, meets and works with the different department heads on special projects, various concerns and inquiries.
  • Responsible for the various expenses incurred in the warehouse and for the performance of its functions and activities.
  • Produces necessary daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports to management.
  • Performs other duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering or other business-related courses

Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:

Ensures that all outgoing stocks and non-stocks are properly served, documented, checked, packed, labelled and delivered to its destination at the expected time, quantities and conditions.

Responsible for day to day WH operations, manpower concerns, administrative functions as well as coordinating functions to Head Office, suppliers and forwarders.

Job Description:
  • Ensures the receipt of orders from the Head Office and distribution to the different warehouses.
  • Checks and monitors the operations daily in the other warehouses especially when the WH Brand Supervisor/WH Brand In Charge is absent or on leave.
  • Checks and ensures that all orders of stocks and non-stocks are properly served and invoiced before transferring/endorsing to the Delivery Department.
  • Checks the actual release of all outgoing items and its corresponding documents through the delivery vehicles, forwarders, messengers and other authorized personnel.
  • Monitors the daily activities of the Delivery Department and assists to address problems, special delivery or pull-out schedules, immediate or critical requests etc.
  • Coordinates with Head Office and accredited forwarders for our delivery and pull-out requirements in the provincial areas.
  • Manages the scheduling and approval of Head Office’ request for the use of vehicles for events and other official functions.
  • Canvas and process requests for various vehicle parts and accessories like tires, batteries, tools, etc.
  • Manages the release of Purchase Orders for fuel and oil consumptions.
  • Monitors the vehicle maintenance concerns, traffic violations, yearly registration etc.
  • Assists the Delivery In Charge in handling, motivating and evaluating performance of staffs as well as disciplining them.
  • Performs administrative and HR functions such as liquidation, replenishment, billing and etc.
  • Process request and handles issuance of office and warehouse supplies
  • Coordinates with Head Office on government requirements, permits, licenses etc.
  • Talks and meets with visiting government representatives
  • Checks daily attendance and time cards before submission to tektite and agencies.
